SunActive® is a patented and protected Nutrient Delivery System (NDS) consisting of micronized and micro-encapsulated nutrients. SunActive® makes water insoluble nutrients readily dispersible in water. It increases the absorption and the bioavailability of fat-soluble and water insoluble nutrients. Moreover, the special technology of SunActive® prohibits mineral sources from evolving a metallic taste and lowers the reactiveness and aggressivity against other components in products and in human bodies. SunActive® is free of any flavours, colours or preservatives and it is stable against heat, salt, pH changes and oxidation. Therefore, SunActive® is suitable for the effective nutrient delivery in foods, beverages and dietary supplements. It is available as iron, zinc, magnesium and coenzyme Q10 products.

SunActive® Mineral Products (Fe / Zn / Mg)

Taiyo’s patented technology is what makes SunActive® outstanding. Usually big particles of ferric phosphate, zinc oxide and magnesium oxide sink to the bottom of liquids. No stable dispersions are possible and the bioavailability is very low. Due to the Super-Dispersion technology SunActive® iron, zinc or magnesium particles get transformed into micronized salt particles and get an emulsifier layer. This transformation leads to a dispersion of the very fine particles and prevents from re-agglomeration and precipitation.

SunActive® Fe

SunActive ® Fe is micronized and highly bioavailable form of encapsulated Iron from Taiyo that is clinically proven to be effective in all forms of Anemia – pregnancy, infants, women, children, athletes etc.

SunActive® Zn

SunActive® Zn is micronized and highly bioavailable form of encapsulated Zinc from Taiyo that has higher bioavailability compared to classic Zinc Oxide and Nano particle Zinc. Also has proven mechanism and no side effects.

SunActive® Fat-soluble Ingredient Product (Q10)

Normally, the particles of fat-soluble ingredients like coenzyme Q10, lutein or astaxanthin do not dissolve and stay on the water surface. A dispersion of these particles is not possible and they mostly provide a bad bioavailability. Taiyo’s Super-Dispersion technology, micronizes the fat-soluble ingredients and gives them an emulsifier layer. This makes SunActive® fat-soluble ingredient products such as SunActive® Q-10E form excellent stable dispersions in water that are similar homogenous like fruit juice. SunActive® has been developed for use in all kinds of water based liquid products, but also for use as part of a bio-enhanced formula in dry applications or functional foods.
