Taiset50K is an unique emulsifier made from mono and diglycerides and polyglycerol esters of fatty acids. It can be used for various food and beverage applications for oil control and gel formation. It is also made in India. 

Features

  • Liquid oils can be solidified by adding TAISET with less saturated fatty acids and No trans fatty acids.

Viscosity Modifier

The rapeseed oil 47.5gm is taken in a glass bottle as control and another similar sample (B) of 47.5g of rapeseed oil is added 5% (2.5g( of TAISET 50K were mixed in a glass bottle at 80 °C  for 10 min. The results B shows the solidification of rapeseed oil.  Samples were kept in the water bath at 20°C for 1 hour.  

Applications

  • Margarine/ spread: Prevents oil separation, free from trans fatty acids
  • Oils and fats: Less saturated fatty acids 
  • Chocolate: Better heat resistance 
  • Whipped cream: Improves overrun and shape stability, better heat resistance 
  • Butter: Good for better stability, heat resistance 
  • Peanut butter/ seasame paste:  Prevention of oil separation 
  •  Milk : Improves body & texture
